How long is my membership good for? The length of your membership will depend on when you joined the team. If you join the team from January 1st - June 30th your membership will be from January 1st - December 31st. If you wish to rejoin the team for another year you would be required to renew in January the following year. If you join the team from July 1st - December 31st your membership will be from July 1st - June 30th. If you wish to rejoin the team for another year you would be required to renew in July of the following year.
When I renew and I already have a GEC jersey is there a reduced price? If you would like to renew and not receive a cycling jersey or triathlon top you can pay just $75.00.
What ability are your training plans written for? Our training plans range from beginner to advanced triathlete. No matter your ability and distance GEC has a training plan for you.
What ability do I have to be to join in on the group workouts? Our group workouts are for everyone. The rides are not "No Drop" but we have all abilities ranging from beginner triathletes to veterans. The same thing goes for the run. The goals of our workouts are to make each of you a better athlete! What are the out of town training weekends? The training weekends are usually in Flagstaff or Show Low during the summertime so we can escape the heat. We typically go up on Friday afternoon so we can be ready to hit the pavement on Saturday morning. If we are in Flagstaff we jump in with the Saturday group ride that goes out to Mormon Lake. Later on Saturday we run on some of the local trails then head out to Lake Mary for an open water swim. On Sunday we head out to Sunset Crater for a ride you won't forget! We end the weekend with a BBQ before heading back to the heat. GEC will coordinate the workouts but it is up to each person to make their own travel arrangements; lodging, transportation, etc... |
