Suzie Snyder


Birthdate: March 30, 1982

Originally from Averill Park, NY. Earned a masters degree in Exercise Science from Springfield College, MA and hold the NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, USA Triathlon and USA Cycling coaching certifications. Currently working as a Human Performance Coach for law enforcement personnel as well as a part-time triathlon coach. Have been involved in triathlon for 8 years and competing as a pro for 2 years.

Notable amateur accomplishments:  6 time XTERRA Regional Champion, 4 time XTERRA age group National Championship, and 2 time XTERRA age group World Champion, 2006 overall amateur world champion, 
top 10 at USAT Age Group Nationals and top 20 at USAT Age Group World Championships.  

Professional accomplishments:  2010--1st at the Toughman Half and set new course record, 5th XTERRA Mountain Championships, 9th XTERRA USA Championship, 5th XTERRA World Championships,


2011

4th- XTERRA Saipan Championship and won the Tagaman road triathlon a week later in Saipan, 7th - XTERRA West, Pacific and Southeast Championships, 4th - South Central Championships, 3rd - East Championship, 9th - XTERRA National Championships, 5th--Overall US Pro Points Series.  1st overall female at the Toughman Half and 1st in the elite amateur division at the Philadelphia Triathlon, earning a professional road triathlon license.

2012

First American pro (4th overall pro) ITU Off-Road Triathlon World Championship, 2012 3rd Pro XTERRA Mountain Championships.
