Focus: Long Course - Ironman / Half-Ironman
Goals: Qualify for Kona / Learn to Swim
Achievements: Ironman PB 9:42 at IMC (first Ironman), 2 x IM 70.3 WC Qualifier
After completing a couple seasons as a self-coached long course triathlete I recognized a coach could push me to a higher level. I researched various coaches and eventually selected Brian Grasky largely because of his proven performance and the recommendations of his past/present athletes. After meeting with Brian in person it was clear that he was who I wanted to coach me. He understood the military life, had a similar approach to training, and was committed to the success of his athletes. This will be my first season with GEC and it is already looking great.
I am first and foremost a Christian. I owe my life to my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who graciously died on the cross for my sins. I am happily married to an amazing young lady and the father of two precious children. As a professional, I am an Aerospace Engineering Officer in the Royal Canadian Air Force. Finally between balancing a busy family life and a military career I am amateur triathlete who suffers through the swim, hammers on the bike, and races the run.
