Major athletic accomplishments: 1994 USA Junior National Duathlon Team; 2003 Arizona State Champion Mountain Bike Series; 2005 Arizona State Mountain Bike Championship Runner-up (PRO); 2009 AZ State Road Race Champion; 2006  Ironman PR of 10:25 in Kona; 2X Ironman Hawaii finisher (5 Ironman finishes); 2006 Xterra National Champion Runner-up; 2006 Southwest Regional XTERRA Champion; 2006 Best of the US Arizona Representative, 9 overall triathlon wins including 4 current standing course records and one 2nd place to Chris Lieto, 4x USAT All-American, 4x Air Force Triathlon Team.

Experience and Qualifications: With 20 years experience in racing and training, and coaching certifications with USA Triathlon (Level 2) and USA Cycling I am an experienced, proven coach.  My race experience at international and pro level in Ironman, Xterra, short-, and long-course triathlon and duathlon has given me the experience necessary to help athletes reach their goals, whether they be a first race or the podium.  I have access to a large network of coaches, experts, and athletes with various experience levels and philosophies for any issues outside my level of knowledge.

Coaching Accomplishments:

Kathy - Basketball player to pro triathlete in three seasons.  Best of the US qualifier champion and top-10 at Best of the US Championships, chosen for All-Air Force Triathlon Team, qualified for Clearwater and Kona, podium at Bufflao Springs Lake 70.3, several overall wins.
Brian B - XTERRA Regional Champion and several overall wins.  Back to back Deuces Wild XTERRA Champion.
Andy - First Ironman 9:57
Brad - AG win and top-10, HalfMax 1/2IM US Championships, 12:30 to 9:33 at IM distance
Scott, Rebecca, Kathy, Brad - Qualified for Ironman 70.3 World Championships

My athletes have gone to world championships in Ironman, Xterra, and duathlon, national championships in Xterra and both short and long course triathlon, and have won many age-group and overall titles.  I have also coached athletes to their first Ironman, their first podium, or their first race.  I coach all levels of athletes, from beginners to elites.
