I am new to the sport of triathlons. I was running a lot several years ago, and started having knee pain.
I bought a bike to try a different sport, and found it quite boring actually. I did my first triathlon in July of last year here in Tucson. I had so much fun in the race and competing again. Of course, my race time sucked! It did not matter, as it got me interested to start training again.
I did two more sprints last year, and am now looking to have a more organized and constructive plan of attack to improve in the sport. My goal is to complete the olympic distance this year, and work towards a half ironman. Brian suggested I work with Nate, and I am looking forward to working with him. Brian and Jill have helped me a lot with this new sport from technical related stuff, to support and encouragement. I have full faith in his choice of a coach and look forward to a fun (and painful) but satisfying tri year.
